A Finn built a solar boat in his shed and sailed it 5,000 km from Finland to Ibiza with zero refueling

The vessel is the Helios 11, a 36-foot (11-meter) experimental electric yacht designed and built in a shed by Finnish inventor Lukas Sjöman.
It successfully traveled over 3,000 nautical miles from Finland toward Ibiza without refueling.
The yacht is powered by a 6 kW rooftop solar array and reportedly uses less electricity while cruising than a household blender.
The construction cost was approximately $20,724, and the vessel relies on battery reserves during nighttime or cloudy weather.
