The Pontiac Bonneville was a full-size car produced by the Pontiac division of General Motors from 1958 to 2005. Originally, the Bonneville was a limited production performance trim package on the Pontiac Star Chief, but eventually became its own separate model.
Throughout its production history, the Bonneville was offered in a variety of body styles, including coupes, sedans, and convertibles. It was often considered one of Pontiac’s more luxurious models, offering features such as power windows, power seats, and air conditioning.
One of the most notable versions of the Bonneville was the Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, which was produced from 1992 to 1999. This model featured a supercharged V6 engine and sport-tuned suspension, making it a popular choice among performance enthusiasts.
In 2005, the Bonneville was discontinued as a result of General Motors’ restructuring efforts. However, the legacy of this iconic car lives on in the hearts of many Pontiac fans and collectors.
